In the U.K, an agency other than the education ministry has apparently developed a concern for edification in the land. Upon the recent iPod event, Apple has revealed its  ack to school plan for the U.K market.

Applicable to students (Higher studies) teachers, lecturers and educationist, the scheme lets the purchaser with a  5 refund cheque upon the purchase of Mac, or iPod (Nano, Touch). Christened VEENCY, the service is ready to provide you with remote desktop operations for your iPhones, allowing you to share the screen of your device with any other client of the VNC. Tried on a Mac based OS, the VNC is supposedly giving what it promises. With small   marking the cursor position of the device on Mac, you can finger around the screen on your iPhone. As of now, the application is downloadable, and requires a simple installation and reboot, and you have it running.

Genius is the main feature of iTunes 8. It creates play lists based upon a single song in your library. Departments that deal in making of iPhone and iPod touch added it to devices and it turned out well. It is also easy to generate a Genius playlist in your iPod.

When you touch the playlist icon you automatically see the Genius icon popping at the top. This new 4G model is a return of the previous model.

Vcom3D has designed a software product called VCommunicator Mobile that uses the iPod to display the phonetic translation through an attached speaker or display the phrase in local writing. Now US soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan can communicate in Iraqi Arabic, Kurdish or Dari and Pushto by reaching for an iPod.

The army is getting around 260 iPods and iPod nanos equipped with this system. 700 individuals will us the device in Iraq and Afghanistan. The total cost for including the software development in the system cost $800,000. Vcom3D chose the iPod platform for the system after realizing that both U.S. soldiers and Iraqi civilians owned or were familiar with Apple's iconic media device.

This device is portable and can be put at the bedside as well. This Apple device has many features. When you are listening to music you can charge you iPhone and iPod. Its radio functions include FM stereo.

The iMM173 has an extra large LCD, which displays the time and radio station megahertz. It delivers good sound with treble and bass control. It has dual alarm clock that features ‘wake to iPhone/iPod, FM radio or buzzer’ options as well as a ‘sleep to iPhone/iPod, FM radio function. The device works with new iPods and is releasing in early September 2008 for $129.99.

CBS is trying to promote Beverly Hills 90210 by releasing specially engraved iPods on their online store. They are currently selling only 2000 units for $269 each which gets you 8 gig iPod nano. They also have the 4 gig version as well for $219.

I'm not sure if this will sell because you can just get a regular one for much cheaper and have your own name on it instead of a commercialized show.

Apple had a new feature for us where we could download or update thirty party applications, but this application does not sound fruitful as it tends to delete the saved data files.

Survey says most of the customers have been victim to the same case. They have lost most of their Apps data when trying to update third party applications.
Now that is upsetting! If they are going to erase data on updates, then they should also provide with an option where we could skip them.

People who buy iPod will never have the communications and GPS capabilities of an iPhone. However what ever features it lacks it makes up through other brilliant features. Apple is planning to buy multiprocessor design company called P.A. Semi for $278 million. P.A. Semi is a semiconductor company delivering processors for the high-performance embedded computing markets. The low power chips could be used for developments of Apple’s iPhone and iPod products thus, making it more efficient for people who buy iPod or iPhone.

However many Americans have become allergic to the culture in America. We encounter many people who are frustrated while they are buying groceries or hostile when they buy iPod on the sidewalk and are irritant on the politics, the news media or Hollywood.
